I absolutely loved the five nights I spent at Blue Almond Hostel. It had a very family-like vibe, where everyone teamed up to cook dinners, go out, and explore the island together. The hostel owner, Juan, was exceptional - he organized everything for us and made sure everyone got to know each other. The hostel was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. The atmosphere was social and welcoming, with plenty of opportunities to meet new people, chill, and have fun. It was the perfect place for my birthday celebration!
100% Recommend this hostel.

Everything was great there. You feel like at home, you can cook, watch TV in a living room, and it's peaceful. You don't have problems to sleep. It's clean and beautiful. We will go back to this Hostel.
It's 20 min walking from touristic centre. If you don't want to walk, this is not a good place for you.

The location of the hostel was good. It was only 10 minutes walking from the place I was taking my diving course. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They give you tips and advises on what to do and what to see on the island. I felt very safe during my stay. If I have the chance, I would return to Blue Almond without doubt.

Being in a quiet house, in a silent neighbourhood, great for relaxing. Small hostel, peacefull. Great staff, very kind and helpfull. They give you keys and you enter and leave as freely as you want. I´ll recomend it to everyone.
Poor water preassure, but maybe it´s like that in the whole island.

We had a great experience at Blue Almond Hostel - in San Andres. the staff, including the owner Juan and his wife, were incredibly helpful and welcoming. They spoke perfect English and gave us a brief introduction to the island, as well as some recommendations for things to do during our stay. the beds were comfortable and the location of the hostel was walking distance to the city center. Plus, the hostel had a great relationship with activity operators, making it easy to book tours, diving, and car/bike rentals. Cons: Nothing to fault! 😊.

On the island of San Andres, filled with big hotels and pricey resorts this hostel is a real gem! The owners are especially nice people that go out of their way to make you feel at home. The hostel is a short walk from downtown and is a very safe, clean and comfortable place to stay. I will definitely be going back for another stay. Looking forward to seeing you guys again - this time for some diving!
